Motivation behind Community Chapel Canberra

 1. Establishment of community chapel fellowship

This fellowship was formed after carefully prayers and consultations. Starting in Canberra, its purpose is to raise an army of the Lord and create a pool of ministers to lead revival in this continent. As a fellowship we are involved in deep investment in prayer and taking territory for Christ. We are committed to establishing a spirit led, scripture based revival that will stand the test of time. Its our prayer that Community Chapel will be established in every city across this continent.

2. A discipleship focused Church

We are a fellowship that is committed to discipleship and spiritual growth of all members. We believe in empowering every believer to achieve their full spiritual growth. Discipleship programs include coaching, small groups, bible study groups, revival meetings and apprenticeship. We recognize that making of disciples is the last commission by our Lord and savoir and we choose to be committed to fulfilling the desires of our Lord. Discipleship also include a planned and relevant strategy for evangelism and mass conversion. We are committed to encouraging personal transformation of mind, soul and spirit that comes from the saving grace of our Lord Jesus. We encourage and administer total deliverance from every form of bondage as commissioned by Christ.

3. A Holy Spirit ministry focused Church

We recognise that the church was founded after the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. We will allow the full move of the holly spirit including baptism, gifts, operation of the gifts and ministry of the Holy Spirit. We encourage all members to be filed with the Holy Spirit and to operate in the Spirit. We recognize the working of miracles through the power of the Holy Spirit

4. A community focused church

We are focused on serving the community of God and also the wider community. We have established "community care" as a  ministry that can quickly and easy react to the needs of our community. We are involved in issues that affect the community that we live with Community Chapel member share their families and talents as a common community of God. We spend time in fellowship and encourage midweek contact.

5. A family focused Church

As a family of Christ we are focused on serving the needs of our families. We commit resources to kids, teens, and young adult’s ministry by strengthening pastoral capacity to be relevant and dynamic. We have programs to strengthen existing marriages and also prepare others to have strong marriages in the future. We encourage programs to inspire our kids, teens and young adults to excel in school and plan for a responsible future. This includes but not limited to school holiday programs, camps and special events

6. Empowerment and releasing believers for service

We believe that every born again Christian is called by our lord Jesus to share on the ministry of reconciliation. We develop programs that will empower us to undertake this calling in a strategic and sustained way. We will create environment to encourage mass involvement in ministry in an orderly way. We encourage and pursue scriptural visions and ideas birthed by members and other leaders.
